So, without further ado, let's get cooking!

Fesenjan

Fesenjan is a traditional Persian dish. It is a sweet-sour pomegranate stew made with simple ingredients. This sweet-and-sour flavor combination will leave you savoring every scoop!


Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs bone-in chicken pieces

  • 1 cup pomegranate molasses

  • 1 cup walnuts

  • Salt and pepper


Instructions:

  1. Sauté walnuts until fragrant

  2. Add chicken and pomegranate molasses

  3. Simmer for 1-2 hours until very tender

Fun Fact: Iran is a leading producer of pistachios and pomegranates, key ingredients in fesenjan and other Persian dishes.
